Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Dr. Robert Atkins

He died fat with heart disease.

All right. Park as far away as possible, and use the stairs. Eat more green vegetables, and less meat. If it comes in a box, and you don't need to add anything to it or cook it, it is a snack. Eat less snacks.

An empty plate is not the sign of a job well done. Drink less beer, and a little more wine. Dance when you hear music.

There. The Hergott diet. 27 years of proven results.

Don't forget a little thing called genetics!

You can be skinny and eat well and exercise regularly and still get leveled by some bizarre disease. (Not that I am bitter or anything.)
