Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Terri Schiavo

Trust me, she died in 1990.

Not much has been going on in my life. However, I must admit that I do like living in Ypsilanti. My parents set up a bird feeder in the backyard, and it sure did feed birds. Hawks are eating sparrows. It's actually quite beautiful to watch, a raptor scoop up a little grey speck of a bird as though it were nothing. Wildlife is a wonderful thing. I watch the National Geographic channel like some people watch soap operas. Will the wildebeest survive his encounter with the leopard? Tune in to as the savannah turns! I geuss that's about it.

Discordant thought; does everything taste like chicken, or does chicken taste like everything?
