He DID do one gay film, but it's title wasn't "Parking Lot Meat".
So, after the State of the Union, I emailed all of my public officials, from the President to my city council member about alternative fuels. I got a response from Liz Brater, my state Senator, today. I asked about cellulosic butanol, and algae derived biodiesel.
She thanked me for asking about algae-derived biodiesel and cellulosic butanol, and then explained to me why ethanol from corn has production limits and that we can only grow so many soybeans for biodiesel.
ARRRGHHH!
Discordant thought; I'll probably still vote for her...
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

i think the general idea of the internal combustion engine is an outdated one. but no one wants to think outside the box and come up with something better. meh. piss on em. i think the entire world should change over to Mag=lev. that would be teh rawk!
Parking lot meat.
*snort!*
err mag-lev. d'oh!
Look at the math. To replace gasoline 100% with biofuels will require, using the best methods available today, planting 300,000 square miles of the US in cellulosic producing plants. That is about 50% of the arable land of the country. Today, right now, because of the use of corn for ethanol production there is no longer any surplus corn available to allow for emergencies. As a result, corn prices have gone way up. Biofuels will never be able to meet present and future demands for motive energy.
