She's rather presidential.
I don't really post links or videos that very often on this little corner of cyberspace, but if I really like something, I will post something about it. So, any ways, I figured, I would tell anyone that bothers to read this (thank you) what I find to be interesting and inspiring. These following sites are what makes me think, laugh, smile, and sometimes cry. Yes, I cry. I am in touch with my emotions.
Evil Science Chick is funny, Pittsburghian, and sometimes titilating. She can also be found in my links section.
Jeffrey Rowlands' blog is part comic, part insight into a soul. He is a bit of a liberal, but if you can't stand a little nonsense, you really shouldn't leave your bed in the morning.
The Green Car Congress. We are going to run out of oil, and the oil we are burning does bad things to the air. These people tell the world what is being done to eliminate these problems.
The Daily Rotten. Reading about how people hurt each other reminds me to be as good as I can to everyone I meet.
Diesel Sweeties. A sentient six foot tall anthropomorphic robot that gives a whole new shine to the phrase "sex toy". Genius.
Questionable Content. A blond neighbor with OCD, a traumatized roommate, a mischievous sentient ambulatory PC, a coffee shop owner with sass, a coffee shop employee with creative alternate uses for Astroglide, and Marten Reed. Among other things.
Krakow. No, not the city.
The Darwin Awards philosophy forum. My screen name is my last name backwards. You don't know what my last name is? Tough.
There's more, of course, but that's for a post about a month from now.
Discordant image; 19,000 adolescent turkeys in a barn, and you have the only shovel.
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.
