Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Mary Magdelene

Whether lover, disciple, or friend, she is important.

I cna't convince anyone of what I have faith in. I must do my best to make this world better than what I found it, and if you don't belive in god as he has revealed himself to me, so be it. If you are naked, I will clothe you, if you are hungry, I will feed you. If you are thirsty for knowledge, I will teach you.

How I believe the universe works does not change my belief in your worth.

I want to live in a world where I can tell people that I'm a christian and not have to explain myself. No, I'm not one of THOSE, and no, I don't believe in THAT...

I hate that I feel I need to defend my faith constantly.

amen...I am a Christian and I believe Mary Magdelene was a friend who was chosen to be the first person to see Jesus after his resurrection. She then told people in the town and the apostles. Their relationship was platonic. I don't defend myself because I'm Christian. I am who I am and I will tell what I believe and why. that's it.
