Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Martha Stewart

She's the kind of felon that you would let near an axe.

Ok, so I am working on the back yard on Thursdays and Fridays. Last week I removed a great deal of rocks and paver stones from the side of the yard, which will be turned in to a garden. First, I have to till it, though.

I will post pictures later today.

I figured out the answer to my writer's block. Harry Potter fan fiction. Who woulda guessed? 18 days of being without internet at my mom's house and I wrote 111K. And still going.

Suddenly I'm discovering that my brain is coming up with other things to say as well. Great days.
