Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Hemiscyllium ocellatum

Me: "So, what shark should I write about today?"

Kim: "Whatever shark you want, honey."

Me: "Maybe a little shark. Like the epaulette shark."

Kim: "What?"

Me: "It lives in tidal estuaries. It has these little spots--"

Kim: "Does it shake a lot?"

Me: "What? No, epaulette. An epileptic shark would be the saddest thing ever--"

Kim: "Yeah, they feel vibrations in the water right? I bet that's why there are no epileptic sharks. Poor George the shark is hanging out, then he has a fit, right? Fred freaks out, and eats him. 'what the hell happened to George?' 'I don't know, but he freaked me out. I had to eat him.'"

Me: "I love you."

Ah, yes. The anonymous commenter strikes again.

Excuse me, sir, but your jealousy is showing.
