Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Marcel Proust

He had asthma as a child.

So, my birthday party was last night. I drank a little too much, as is evident by my current headache. It was a good party. The US marshal service is involved in its aftermath. I will let you know what that is all about when I get more information.

Oh, pictures. I was too drunk to take any. The bonfire was nice. Rail road ties don't really burn all that well. Children's chopped up swing sets burn well, on the other hand.
