Apparently, the cost of a human life, in her case, is one year in jail and 1,000 dollars, at most.
California and Florida suck. If you have enough money and fame, you can get away with murder or thievery if you live in those states. Quite frankly, the ethics and worldview of the average Californian and Floridian is NOT HELPFUL in the struggle against militant Islamic extremism. Michigan isn't perfect, as the tale of one Nathaniel Abraham will attest, BUT AT LEAST WE PUT HIM AWAY AT ALL.
The coasts are morally corrupt.
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Brandy rear ended someone accidentally and it ended tragically. Awful, yes. Intentional and deserving of tons of money and jail time? Absolutely not.
I agree with Amy. I'm not a judge but I think a $50 million lawsuit is uncalled for just because she's a celebrity. It's a tragedy
