Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Lisa Nowak

I believe a review of NASA's psych protocols is in order...

What makes people snap? How can we determine who is on the edge, and can we devise a way to bring them back from that edge? Are some people, through a strange confluence of genetics, biology, and environment doomed to crisis, or can we transcend our limitations? Is God, and good, in the details, the big picture, both at the same time, or in one or the other? What can we do to make the group healthy while nurturing the individual?

Where is the balance?

Only God knows everything. We can't fully understand brain chemistry. We can try but we have finite knowledge and don't usually look at the big picture. We are free people, not God's pawns. Our chemistry is affected by what we intake and genetics. Mental disorders can be managed provide one knows what disorder they have. I firmly believe that Miss Nowak was not thinking rationally during this whole process of wanting to eliminate her rival. I'm praying for her...it's so hard to see someone throw their life away...but God is sovereign and I believe she can overcome her "limitations"

Who hasn't driven half-way across the country with a car full of weapons to kidnap some bitch, wearing a diaper so you don't have to stop? That's not snapping. That's just getting even.
