Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Richard Jeni

He was my first blog title, and the inspiration for the name of my blog.

Richard Jeni is dead. He apparently killed himself, by shooting his face. This... is an unmitigated tragedy. Jeni was a comedy genius. Watch any of his material, and witness the definition of funny.

I am in mourning.

I can't comment, Scoot. Everything seems to turn into a smart ass reply.
