Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Mary McDonnell

She came back from a devastating illness.

No, I am not comparing cancer to a head cold. Laura Roslin exists only in the imaginations of fans and writers. I am comparing my REAL illness to a fake one that was cured with a few strokes on a keyboard.

Any ways, I am back, baby! I had no idea how much email can accumulate in a two-day period. I need to visit all of my favorite haunts on the 'net and celebrate the cleansing powers of Vitamin C, Chicken soup, bed rest, and soaking myself in epsom salted bathwater.

I feel so, so, SO much better.
