Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Janeane Garofalo

"She used to be funny, I don't know why she wouldn't be funny now" -- Kim.

So, I was attacked by illiterate fan boys last night. I do hope they come back. I enjoy exposing idiots for what they are.

So, it is the post Shark Club era. We are making Fridays our movie night, and switching Monday to be our trivia night. Kim would like to see "50 First Dates" tonight. I think she just has a crush on the fat hobbit.

Pig roast and the Red Wings tomorrow. Checking off the post it notes starting on Sunday.

Good Lord, life is good right now.

I just loved Janeane as the alterna-chick with the lunch box and the ridiculous bangs in "Reality Bites". But I love her even more on Air America (she used to have a show with Sam Seder. I forget the name, but they were very impassioned leftists, something I can always get behind).

Wow, where did those random fanboys come from?

Where are you guys going to trivia now that the Shark Club jumped the shark?
