Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Karen Carpenter

I am almost as bloody hungry as her.

So, today was Julie's big roofing party. We had plenty of people, lots of tools, and warm sun. A little too warm. I am going to need to apply aloe to my arms. Evil day star. Any ways, the coil nail gun was a big hit. Unfortunatley, it decided to kill the first compressor it was hooked up to, but the second compressor was a little more tolerant of the coil gun's demands.

Kim visited and watched me be all manly and virile for a litle while. That was nice. Any ways, Jake may need me to dig a hole for his hot tub in the next couple of weeks, so that is something to look forward to.

I like Kim's friends. They're fun.

I just have to say, Scoot, I love reading about your love affair with Kim. It's like watching a flower open. Did that sound totally cheesy?

I can't wait for you to propose to her on blogger. I will totally come to Ypsilanti (sp?) for the wedding.
