Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Machine Gun Kelly

He was the first person to pop up in a random search of Wikipedia articles.

Well, I did yard work, I did my job, I attended a funeral, and I told Kim I love her. I think that was a pretty full day.

I think I need to start writing these things in the morning, before anything happens, so I can delve into esoterica, and tackle these post-its.

Huh... my favorite childhood toy. You know, I actually didn't really have a childhood toy that was my favorite, per se, it was more of a childhood toy system. Do any of you guys remember Legos? They were the little plastic interlocking blocks that you could make little houses, or cars, or abstract art with, right?

I enjoyed making little communities, and finishing up the newest toy set, like the space shuttle, and such.

Then my siblings arrived. Elizabeth paid no attention to my blocks, mostly because we were six years apart. Joshua discovered them when he was four... and utterly destroyed any trace of community or original designs I had made. He also learned that paper ripped right about then, and so all of the plans were lost.

Huh. I still haven't forgiven him. Man.

Now I'm bummed.

Jesse broke my weeble wobble tree house on my head when he was little. Insult AND injury. It was always my fault too... "you should have put it up", "you're older - he's just a baby". Bah. Maybe that's why I had to beat the shit out of him all the time... hmmm...
