Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Maggie Gyllenhaal

She is playing Rachel Dawes in the new Batman film. Thank God, Katie Holmes and her freak husband didn't bring any negative energy to the set.

So, Kim and I went to trivia last night. It was a less than impressive performance on our parts. Still, we found a way to take the sting out of losing. Yes, we did indeed.

I suppose I should write a few words about George Carlin, eh? He said what he thought was right, and didn't back down. We should all strive to be like him... in our own way.

It's Tuesday. I've got nothing. Wait, that's not entirely true... Google "Carolina Jones" for me, and try to watch it with a very special someone, eh?
