Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

John Lennon

... And we all SHINE ON...

So, John De Lorean is dead, and his car company went bankrupt. I feel sorry for the man, because his DMC-12 really is and was a beautiful vehicle. Of course, the DMC-12 is not an abandoned orphan car any longer. In 2005, Stephen Wynne of Texas acquired all rights to the former De Lorean Motor Company's properties, and in 2007... he announced that the DMC-12 would again be manufactured in his Houston factory.

This sentence links to a Jalopnik article on the factory, and the car that really is coming "back to the future".

I do believe I would like to own one.

Keep shining, folks.

"... like the moon, the stars, and the sun."

I can see you in a De Lorean.
