Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Jesus Christ

You know... he IS kind of hot.

I almost bordered on beating the French Olympic Beach Volleyball team once.

Jesus was way cool - he could bake the most delicious cakes!
Do you think people would get pissed if you went to halloween parties as Jesus? You've got the body for it. You just need a wig, crown of thorns and a couple bloody stakes. Good thing I'm already going to hell.

no you didn't. you've never played against, nor met the french team in a dark alley while you were carrying a baseball bat.

You really need to turn on e-mail notification for the posts that you comment on, Chud.

Read Ayn Rand again.

Oh, and as for the French Olympic Volleyball team, I once watched them on TV, and I once played Volleyball. Are you beginning to understand why "almost bordered" or "almost bordering" is so incredibly meaningless?

Slightly short of; not quite; nearly.

A part that forms the outer edge of something.
A decorative strip around the edge of something, such as fabric.
A strip of ground, as at the edge of a garden or walk, in which ornamental plants or shrubs are planted.
The line or frontier area separating political divisions or geographic regions; a boundary.

english, learn it. love it. almost bordered is far less vague than you want it to be.

so watching the french volleyball team and playing them thusly almost bordering on beating them, are miles apart.
