Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Dr. Spock

He seemed to know what he was talking about.

So, I watched Sadie this morning, all by myself. Well, Sadie's grandmother was only a knock on her door away, but still. Any ways, we watched Blue's Clue's, and Franklin. I made eggs in a basket. Sadie apparently like eggs, and likes toast, but eggs IN toast was a bit of a new problem.

Oops.

Any way, she's not bleeding and has no broken bones, so I think I did all right.

I much prefer Dr. Sears. Look him up, Scoot.

That was always my mom's method of judging how well a situation went. Anyone bleeding? Any bones broken? No? Good.

i think there's some confusion here: spock was the science officer. bones mccoy was the doctor.
