Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Stacie Gransden

She held a party in the last days of the 2008 winter season, and helped to change my life forever.

This is the last entry for blog 365. This has been a wonderful project, and I am supremely grateful for the connections that I have made in this last year. I wish all of you a grand new year, and I am not done blogging by a long shot.

Get ready for a baby blog, yo.

Maybe you could a start blog730.

A year ago today I was a different person, and mostly lonly. I am glad I went to that party and was able to push through my normal sensabilities that usually stop me from getting drunk and always stop me from "hooking up". Some hook-up, eh?
