Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Charlton Heston

You may now retrieve the rifle.

Well, it was absolutely glorious, today. So glorious, in fact, that I invited Kim over for barbecue. It was delicious, thank you very much. Any ways, most of the family is in Chicago for a few days. It's just me and my stepfather. Whoo. What else? Ah, Maggie's birthday was yesterday. Kim and I hung out in Canton, watched a few silly home video projects, looked for pterodactyl porn... and couldn't find it.

How poignant is that?

I was waiting for someone to say something about taking the rifle.
