Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Rudolf Diesel

His first engine ran on peanut oil.

Ok, so I bored Kim with talk about fuel a couple of nights ago. She was attentive and asked questions about it, but, I'm no dummy. I know she wasn't into it. Still, I think a Sunday evening essay is right up my alley. Now, as most of you know, I ride a Kymco Agility 50 motor scooter. This beauty gets 75 miles to the gallon. Moreover, nowhere in metro Detroit is out of my reach.

So, with that in mind, I figured I would link to an article in the Ann Arbor news.

Oh, by the way... I really think you should get a news paper subscription. Seriously.

I admire your passion when it comes to being green. Honestly, I never put much thought in to it, but you're not wrong and I am listening and I am nothing if not flexable.
