Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Frederick Louis Maytag

"Honey give me a name." "Maytag." "Now I need to find out who started Maytag now..."

All right, Stepho. My laundry system. I haven't forgotten. Now, I suppose I should start with the fact that we are a four machine family. Two washers, two dryers. One of the dryers uses natural gas, and the other uses a 220 volt line electrical outlet.

Both washers are electric.

Of course, ever since spring started, we haven't been using the dryers, because we now have a clothes line. Yeah. Old school, baby.

I don't know what more to add to that. Well, just ask, I guess.

I thought you were going to write abou the system you have for doing laundry. You know, whites, darks, delicates, do you throw them all in together or seperate... not that I really need to know.
It so is dark outside. BiG STORM COMIN!!! WOO HOO!!!

Yes. Also, what system do you have in place, if any, for intermediate laundry? You know, pants you've worn once but will wear at least one or two more times before washing. Do you re-hang and remember, or are you a dresser/chair person?

Ooh, also, when you hang dry laundry, do you take care to hide the dedicates, or do you say "hey, neighbors! Look at my underoos!" and throw discretion into the wind?

Stepho, you's funny. Not that you asked me, but I feel compelled to tell you...
When I wear something and it still has some life in it it still goes in the laundry basket in my room. If I need something from the basket I smell it first to determine if it is wearable.
My daughter thought it was hiLAReous that I was smelling the crotch of my jeans this morning. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

Hilarious? But the sniff test is the most important of tests! You're teaching her the kinds of life skills she'll never learn in school.

Seriously, who only wears their pants once per wash?
