Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

John McCain

What happened to you? You are a SURVIVOR of torture. You once stood up to the Southern Baptist theocrats, and now you have John Hagee by your side. Senator, you have served in this country's military, you refused to abandon your fellow POWs, you worked across the aisle to bring real reform to Washington...

What has happened to you in these last seven years? Honestly, is sacrificing your dignity and honor worth four years in a pretty mansion?

My heart aches.

Now, I don't particularly believe that Obama is really the shining white knight on a hill that will lead us all to Camelot. I think he is just a man that cares about his country, and through God-given talents, has inspired others to follow him and reject the failed policies and politics of these last seven years.

I believe due to his relative youth and inexperience, he will have to lean on advice from elder statesmen, while you would merely need to command the office with your own prestige and experience.

All things being equal, I think you would be the better president on day one. However, with this rhetoric about accusing Obama's wish to fight terrorism within the constraints of the constitution... calling that "a September 10th mindset", or a "law enforcement approach" to terrorism... and then reversing yourself on off shore oil drilling, drilling that would not affect oil prices for at least ten years...

Senator... do you honestly want to continue fighting terrorists in manners that are outside of the constitution, and continue to keep us addicted to oil?

I don't know if I can vote for Obama... but I certainly know that you would need to return to your roots for me to vote for you.

Scooter, I could just kiss you.

(Obama for change!)

Oh, and here's what happened to McCain in the last 7 years: he got even older than he was before, which was older than my dead grandmother. Old.

He's older than he's ever been and now he's even older
And now he's even older
And now he's even older
He's older than he's ever been and now he's even older
And now he's older still
