Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Demetrius Ypsilanti

He is a hero of Greece. His bust is on the green at the Ypsilanti water tower.

It's time again for the Heritage festival in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Kim, Sadie, and I will attend this Sunday. Pictures will be posted Monday.

Hmm. Kim and I are staying in tonight... I think we should try to figure out how to post the Zoo video footage.

Oh, one last thing. Chris Szabo's birthday luau is this Saturday. Joe, Chud... I doubt it will be a big thing if two more uninvited people join the throng of the more than 100 guests. If you are interested, call me on Saturday, and I will direct you to the festivities. Just you two, and maybe A lady friend each. I don't want to be known as the asshole that brought Redford Township (yes, Joe, I know you and Chud don't live in Redford) to Chris' party.

That's it. Have a great weekend!

Yes, Chud and Joe would be more than welcome to Szabo's Annual Birthday Bash. Don't miss it guys. The only rule is don't piss Szabo off. Oh, and it's a luau, so flowered FGF shirts are encouraged. Nakedness is encouraged of the women you bring.

If I wasn't already heading out for some weekend goodness, I'd be in. Thanks for the invite... But Ypsi calling Redford trash? Really? It is an even keel.
