Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

William Shatner

He's just awesome. I mean, he's a nerd icon, a stand-up guy, Canadian (hell yeah!), and I bet I would learn something new from him if I were ever given the honor of his presence.

I can't think of a better gift than learning something new.

Any ways, I watched "Boston Legal" last night. As some of you might know, Christian Clemenson plays Jerry Espenson on that show, a brilliant lawyer with Asperger's, and quite possibly Tourette's. Jerry is a shy man that wishes to fit in, but rarely does, and suffers for it.

At the same time, though, his skills as a lawyer are exemplary, and if I were in any need for representation, I would want a man like Jerry Espenson by my side.

So, yeah... I like "Boston Legal".
