Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Don Rickles

At least he gets paid to insult people.

So, apparently I get rude when I drink. Kim has informed me that at the costume party on Saturday, I blurted out to a woman "YOU HAVE A POINTY CHIN!" or something close to it and equally inappropriate.

Her chin is not "pointy". It's actually a very nice chin.

So, I had a bad hangover, and I insulted someone. I don't even like drinking all that very much, either. I mean, as a social exercise, drinking a shot or two with friends is fun, but the actual "whoo, party" feeling isn't enough of a draw for me to ignore my inappropriate outbursts or accept hangovers.

Really, two Labatt Blues and some munchies are more than enough for me to have a good time. Indeed, I drank the six pack of Labatt very quickly because other folks were grabbing them from the party fridge ahead of me.

Meh. Drinking is ok. I can take it or leave it. I can most decidedly leave it if I am going to say "pointy chin" to people.
