Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

Damien Cameron

He knows how to throw a party. He does. No, seriously.

So, Kim, the children, and I hung out at the house. It was a good day, but the furnace has finally given its full measure of devotion. That's not too bad, seeing as it's April. Kim has decided to bake when she feels cold. I am totally behind this decision.

After the kids went to bed, I went out to Damien's house. Unfortunately, everyone canceled on the man except for me and Kevin. So... we stared at each other for a few minutes, and then left.

Tomorrow will be a bit more busy.
